UN ASSOCIATION OF NEW YORK HOSTS “WALK ON MY OWN” SCREENING AND DISCUSSION

WALK ON MY OWN is screened and discussed hosted by the United Nations Association of New York at the Dolby Screening Room. The conversation revolved around human rights issues and more specifically, Ndèye Fatou Fall’s short film. Her documentary depicts life in a small village in Senegal that abandoned the traditional practices of Female Genital Cutting and child marriage in order to promote both education and empowerment.
