12-year-old Edelsin Linette Mendez documents the challenges climate change brings to her family and their small coffee farm in the highlands of Nicaragua. 16-year-old María Ceballos Paz, one of millions of Colombians displaced due to national civil unrest and guerrilla forces, shows us her family, friends, and community as they attempt to rebuild their lives.

Faiza Almontaser tells her story of immigrating to the US from Yemen and how she learned to face discrimination and cope with bullies in an islamophobic, post 9/11 world.
