Isabel Sheinman

Isabel is the co-creator of Nabu, a digital reading app and mother tongue book publishing platform making literacy accessible to children globally. In 2019 she earned her MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, with a focus on Media and Entertainment. Isabel now works at the intersection of commercial product development, strategy and financial inclusion at Mastercard, with a focus on unbanked and underserved communities.
Isabel has worked for Representative Carolyn Maloney, was a World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers and sits on the Board of Directors of NABU and Place Corps. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Psychology from Georgetown University and is Greek Cypriot, British and born and raised in NYC.

She serves on the Board of the Virginia Parker Foundation, which aims to support cultural institutions in Canada; Ithaka, a non-profit study-abroad program which seeks to educate teenagers in the classics; and the Auberge Saint-Antoine, her family’s hotel business in Quebec City, Canada.

Jonice owns and runs one of New York’s most celebrated salons, catering to celebrities including Roberta Flack, Sarah Jessica Parker, Gwyneth Paltrow, Vanessa Williams and Christy Turlington. She is active raising money for children around the world and for cancer research and hosts a charity event each year at the salon.
