The second-ever BYkids Academy just wrapped in NYC, and the energy was next-level.

But what is this BYkids Academy?

It is an immersive documentary filmmaking workshop that gives young people the tools on how to tell their own stories through film.

There was writing. Filming. Reflecting.

There were new friendships, unexpected questions and so many “Wait, I did not know I could do that” moments.

It was not about perfection it was about showing up, getting curious and making something real.
